The weight of Xmods

I weighed all of the parts of the XMOD car with a postage scale down to the last screw, and figured that we could all benefit from this knowledge. All weights are shown in grams.

Unassembled Skyline Body w/factory paint: 28g

Body assembled w/ screws, hood, wing, side skirts,etc: 47g

Stock S1 motor with front/rear braces w/screws: 21g

Front Motor Brace w/screws: 2g

Battery box clips: 1g/each

AAA Batts: 12g each (45g total)

Rear suspension plate w/antenna: 2g

Front Suspension brace w/o screws: 2g

Skyline Hood: 4g

Skyline Front Bumper: 5g

Skyline Rear Bumper: 4g

Skyline Wing: 1g

Skyline Side Skirts: 1g total

Skyline Mirrors: less than 1g total

Skyline wheel/tire: 2.4g each
Wheel: 0.4g
Tire: 2.0g

Assembled Chassis w/o motor and front/rear suspension plate: 84g

Stock Servo: 6g

Rear Suspension assy. w/wheels, conical gear, differential, and stock suspension w/tires: 17g

Front Suspension Assy w/wheels, tires, and driveshaft retainer: 12g

AWD Kit w/Red control arms F/R and 'Posi' rear diff w/all screws: 15g

Stock Drive Shaft: 5g

Speed Controller w/servo & Board/Plate w/batt boxes w/o batteries: 35g

Batt. Boxes: 3g each

Chassis Case w/o aluminum plate: 10g

Aluminum plate: 4g

6 Medium length screws: 1g.

2 Long Screws: 1g

8 Short Screws: 1g

All stock wires from batt containers, to motor terminals: 4g

I had a good bit of help from one of my freinds. It took a little over a day to weigh it all!

Haha Whoa, I think I would have given up after the first hour or So, That really is alot...
Anyone else Gonna weigh Any other Xmods?

I think My barricade total is.... 185, Thats minus the Clip, Plus the added Few grams of the 6th cell, and solder, and Plus a blower...

I want to weigh a truck. I just dont have time to do that much.

I work every day of the week. I am a workaholic!

And me!, 5:30 Am too 3:30 Pm, Not the best hours, But not the worsst, And I do Fencing =/ Thats hard work.

Yea, I did a year of sheet metal work, down in Louisiana. That is probly one of the hardest jobs I have ever done.

I work at a michanics shop Mon-fri 2:30pm to 5:30pm then at the same place sat from 8:00am to 5:30pm , Then on Sun I work at RS from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.

We deffently dont work easy hours,...
Fenching sucks, I dont get laid off even if its 0 Degrees out.
It sucks, But the pay check is the best thing,
Scale really Is the way too go.

Yeah, The pay check is the only reason I work.

But my girl gets it, I dont even get to cash it.

im gonna start tellen my boss, too just make my paycheck 500 dollars everyweek, then just too write out another, So Ill cash the Other one, and give her the 500 one.

Why does your girl get it,

I only spend about 50 a week on my GF.

Ever since I bought my own house, She likes my paycheck even more. We live together.
Hahah, Apperantly She "Needs cloth"
Beings She gets new cloth Every week or so, And she buys expensive Stuff, Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, If you ever heard of them...
Plus she wants a new car, so I better start saving.

I take my GF out to eat and I usually buy her cloths, CD's, ect.

Its expensive haveing a girl freind, but Its all worth it.

Deffently Worth it, Usally We go out too eat like 2 times a week, then at the end of the week, well lay down, or sit down, and She'll be like, Man I gotta stop Eating out soo much, Ill come home from work one day, and she'll be like, " Im hungry '' I myself cannot cook, and I know she cannot also.... So Ill take her out when she wants, Her not having a job She usally goes too the mall while Im at work, I really dont care, Unless Theeres like 1,000 dollars outta my bank, But She knows better and wouldnt do that too me, And I can support myself and her Farily well With only my income.
