How to further your Xmods range.

tools needed: soldering iron and solder, screw driver, thats it
next its a good idea to plug your soldering iron in now so you dont have to wait for ot to heat up later.

first start off by removing the crystal, intenna, and battery


now remove the steering wheel and the 2 screws on each side of the controller


now remove those screws to open up the controller, now go pick up the screw you just dropped on the floor and go to the next step


I like to remove the old grease and put detox gold (avaible at radioshack) on the contacts then put new grease on but this is optional


now remove these 2 screws to free up the electronics


this is where R20 is kinda blurry but shows the piont


these are the solder pionts for R20, heat these with your soldering iron and pull the resister out from the other side with some pliars


now put a solder bridge over those 2 pionts this is what should look like


now go out and enjoy your new range

dude, just add a longer antenna.
